    Abstract

Energy constrain within wireless sensor network (WSN) while transmitting wireless signal in response to a detected event has been addressed. Significant amount of power is consumed during wireless transmission data from the sensor node compared to the other relevant processing within the node. It is conventional to transmit training symbols to bias the receiver to detect transmitted signal. In this paper, a new unbiased signal detection scheme has been proposed for WSN with distributed beam-forming as well as collaborative transmission. Recently proposed Opt Space Matrix regularization algorithm has been considered. From the simulation result it is observed that the proposed algorithm is robust and consistent for different values of signal to leakage ratio (SLR). Moreover, it is found that the proposed signal detection scheme outperforms few of the existing algorithms of the similar purpose.
