Abstract
The research aimed to analyze the content of Egyptian Cartoon TV shows to study the social values presentation of them in the shows. It focuses on the relation between the shows’ types and the concentration of presenting positive and negative social values and how they’re being addressed. The Social Cognition theory was used for the research’s framework depending on 5 Egyptian cartoon shows produced and aired in years 2018 and 2019 and were selected based on a study on a random sample of 40 parents with children of different ages to know the most shows their children are exposed to. The research concluded that there are differences in the values adopted by each show according to its nature that could control the length of the episodes for every show.
