    Abstract

Globally, the construction industry plays a significant role in economic development of any nation. However, its efficiency is low. In recent time lean construction methods such as the Last Planner System (LPS) has been identified as having enormous potentials to support construction process improvement in the sector. But, there is little or no documented evidence to support this assertion in the UK construction industry. This study explores the impact of the LPS on construction projects in the UK.
