Abstract
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book provides a sound and solid base from which future socio-cultural studies of the English Premier League, football and sport more broadly can be based. It examines the League through a range of different socio-cultural contexts. The book also examines that the recruitment of highly skilled foreign workers has become fundamental to clubs if they wish to maintain their League status and win the war for talent. It shows that the development of the League has come to reflect a range of processes and flows, transnational networks, and social and cultural relations that impact not only at a local level but at a global one too. It also explains that the diversity represented in the English Premier League, like the National Football League (NFL) and National Basketball Association (NBA), does not necessarily equate to equality though.
