SMART security alert system for monitoring and controlling container transportation

Abstract

Nowadays, day-to-day reality is how the development of information, communications and technologies (ICT) and the growing globalization boost and affect all parts of our lives. This makes this technique due to the fact the supply chain or customer service, which is part of the logistics management or supply chain, has emerged as vital factors of the agency to be able in the market. Thanks to the huge advances in technology, devices and various social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and the number of facts produced increases every year. The whole amount of information obtained by means of mankind earlier than 2003 amounted to 5 billion gigabytes. The rate continues to grow. All these facts make feel and are useful after it has been processed. Big data applied sciences needed to provide extra accurate analysis. Accurate evaluation will lead to concrete decision-making, main to extra efficient operations, lower fees and decrease business risks. According to the Logistics Management Board (CLM), logistics are part of the supply chain system that plans, implements and controls the efficient and positive glide and storage of goods, offerings and related information, from a place of starting place to the location of origin, in order to meet consumer requirements. This paper focuses on lookup and implementation of container tracking solutions in real time to create a computerized email and SMS alert device for container customers to screen their container at some point of the manner of international transport and national delivery. This paper provides lookup to furnish real-time container tracking options to enhance the safety and productivity of logistics operations. And to enable real-time tracking, the server database is entered for records storage when ship containers or a container for vehicles are the primary IOT community coverage, which leads to smart logistics operations. In this paper, we will outline some chances of applying logistic operations, namely, surveillance and safety of goods.
