Quality Evaluation for Model-Driven Web Engineering Methodologies

Abstract

A number of Model-driven Web Engineering methodologies have been developed, which are used for developing web-based applications. This work developed a quality evaluation framework for evaluating how well these methodologies support the achievement of quality characteristics, such as usability, accessibility, testability, as defined by quality standards such as ISO 25000. This Quality Evaluation Framework (QuEF) enables potential users to compare methodologies and to choose an appropriate approach, also methodology developers can use this framework to improve their methods.
