Abstract

A research project critically examining representation of diverse identities - gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and disability - across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, spanning 18 years and 40 films. The project analyses both on-screen characters and behind-the-camera creative teams across five MCU phases (2008–2024).
