    Abstract

    Sports coaches have a wide variety of children in their sessions. It is their role to understand the backgrounds of these children and know how best to include them and manage their learning and enjoyment. In this keynote talk the current issues in sports coaching within schools is identified and debated with academic evidence, with innovative suggestions put forward.
