Abstract
An attempt is made to apply the discipline of chaos theory to the hospitality context. The characteristics of chaos theory are exemplified by a commercial example. How chaos theory poses fundamental challenges to mainstream hospitality is explored and its use in forecasting is discussed. A research agenda is proposed to verify and validate the issues discussed.
