Abstract
Kamran Qureshi was nominated for Best TV Director award for this 20-part television drama series in the Lux Style Awards 2007. The series highlighted emotional and sexual components of extramarital relations, experience of growing up in a joint family system and its (dis)advantages, property inheritance, fraudulent marriages, emotional neglect in relationships, suicide due to parents disapproval in the selection of a life partner. The series written by Bushra Ansari and it was a 7th Sky production. The series aired on GEO TV Network in the US, UK, UEA and Pakistan and is available on DVDs.
