Abstract

This research aims to associate the gap of old tradition teaching and learning mathematics with the help of dynamic mathematical software. Also, enhancing the learning capabilities and interest of students by creating a platform of variations to teach mathematics based on existing world problems. To improve the discovery learning procedure by empowering both the teacher and learner to visualize and explore examples in a short period of time as compared to conventional method of teaching mathematics and for this purpose GeoGebra software is used. Initially assessments show significant enhancements in the learner's performance and fun while learning with less effort. Aligning of learning mathematics with the use of ICT in today's fast changing society. Teaching and learning mathematics is the main performance characteristic of individuals learning for isolated examination. Also the main purpose of using GeoGebra in teaching mathematics classes is to improve the higher order thinking skills in short time with the help of VARK (Visual learners, Aural/auditory learners, Read/write learners, and Kinesthetic/tactile learners). This paper discusses how to incorporate with technology in today's fast changing environment.
