    Abstract

The economy needs more businesses to start and grow. Supporting marginalised groups to start, survive and grow their businesses is key not only to the economy (Regional Economic Strategy, WM 2006) but also aligns with diversity pledges (City of Culture Southampton Bid, 2021) and the Public Sector Equality Duty (2021). The project will also assist local people to create new businesses.
