Abstract

Data Science is a growing field which aims at making scientific discoveries using data. It spans multiple fields: database management, statistics, data mining, information visualisation, artificial intelligence and deep learning. This workshop introduces these topics and looks at real world examples. Market Basket analysis, Clustering, Classification, Prediction and Time Series Analysis processes will be
explained. During the hands-on session we will use Orange3 a tool which enables the use of machine learning algorithms and manipulates data with simple visual programming.
