Abstract

This presentation was give part-way through RIKE project 1344 on Corrosion Monitoring. It gives an introduction to corrosion and why it is such a global problem that needs attention. It then goes on to explain how it occurs physically and chemically, and explains the rudiments of how the author proposes to create a new type of corrosion sensor.
