Abstract

Bond... James Bond: Critical Perspectives on the 007 Film Franchise is a scholarly yet vibrant and accessible edited collection comprised of twenty-five chapters written by some of the foremost scholars in the field of contemporary film and television studies. The volume, which contains an original chapter on every official Bond film from Dr. No (1962) to No Time To Die (2021), offers dynamic interactions with one of the defining franchises in the history of the medium. Scheduled to be published in 2022, the sixtieth anniversary of the release of Dr. No (1962), the release date will provide many opportunities for the book to benefit from the renewed interest in the series as a result.
