Academic description
A partnership led by Southampton City Council and involving Co- Investigators from the University of Southampton and Solent University alongside 70 local partners have been awarded the Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) for a total of 5mil investment from NIHR. The project will be developed over the next 5 years, with the aim being to build on the capacity and expertise in the Southampton City Council team that will ensure the identification and support needed to enable the most important research questions facing policymakers and services at local and national levels.
