Academic description

This international collaboration between Solent University and the International Labour Organization offered the opportunity to support curriculum development and capacity building for the Seafaring Engineering Study Program of the Indonesian Maritime State Polytechnic (PoliMarin) in Indonesia. The project aimed at strengthening the quality and relevance of the Seafaring Engineering study program of Polimarin in line with international best practice and industry needs.
The specific objectives are:
1. Support for the strengthening of the study program in Seafaring Engineering
2. Capacity Building and Professional Development for Teachers of the Seafaring Engineering study program
3. Enrichment of the student learning experience through interactive skills development
