Project Details
Academic description
It is our aim through this proposal to develop a partnership that will support Communicare to develop key evaluative methods (through creative methodologies and including carrying out analysis) that are meaningful for them and their communities. We also aim to continue this partnership beyond the life of the award by establishing opportunities for students to carry out projects for their dissertations that are in other areas of interest to Communicare. This is very much for Communicare, by Communicare with Solent training and providing continuing support. The objectives are to:
1)Work with services users as an advisory board to understand how Communicare impacts the community, which will determine relevant outcomes to monitor.
2)Train interested volunteers in evaluation methods so that they are able to independently evaluate Communicare moving forward.
3)Foster an ongoing partnership between Southampton Solent and Communicare that will offer students the opportunity to carry out research for their studies based on research and evaluation priorities set by Communicare.
