Project Details

Academic description

This project aims to advance futsal development in England by systematically examining both the in-possession and out-of-possession phases of play. Unlike most existing research, which has predominantly focused on attacking behaviours, this project takes a holistic approach to understanding futsal performance. By combining observational match analysis with applied training interventions, the study seeks to generate evidence-based insights that can directly inform player development, coaching pedagogy, and national performance strategies.
