Project Details

Academic description

Yellow Door, a non-profit organisation in Southampton dedicated to initiatives to preventing and combat domestic and sexual abuse, has been delivering school based preventative interventions with children of all genders for over 20 years; this part of the service is called the Star Project. With the support and expertise of yellow Door, we want to build on this to develop a programme that challenges stereotypes relating to masculinity - working with children / young people in a local secondary school to develop the intervention and materials which will then be used to further deliver sessions in schools.
