Personal profile

Prins is a Senior Lecturer in Computing at Solent University. He has a background in Computing and Digital Systems Engineering and teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate computing courses. He conducts research in the area of technology facilitated learning and supervises dissertation projects. Prins also carries out the role of acting course leader for BSc (Hons) Computing, BSc (Hons) Software Engineering and the computing master courses. He is an external examiner, an avid practitioner and has a proven track record of success in computing, teaching and training.  Prins has received a number of accolades including an award for outstanding teaching.

Research Interests

Prins is an active researcher with a strong research focus in the areas of e-learning, gamification and intelligent and adaptive learning systems. He is passionate about education, technology and innovation and dedicates himself to developing solutions to enhance processes and the quality of life.
