Dr. Paul Summers PhD, MA, PGCTLHE, FHEA, FCMI, CMBE, MAPM, MCP, LMPA, ACIB, joined the University in September 2014 as an Associate Lecturer, and has also taught operations management, project management, consultancy, creativity and strategy at a number of southern universities.
Paul has worked for more than 40 years in a range of different organisations across the private and public sectors. This experience is mainly in the fields of projects, IT and business improvement.
Paul's research interests include developing reflective practitioners, improving project performance, alternative approaches to the management of project

Paul is a practitioner and researcher in the areas of systems thinking, projects, learning and improvement. In 2014 he co-chaired the UKSS 18th International conference at the University of Hull. He has refereed a number of articles for both journals and conferences. Paul has been awarded APMP, MSP and PRINCE2 practitioner qualifications.
