Research interests

I was a senior lecturer in Human Resource Management at LSBU Business School. My research specialism is related to Cross-Cultural Management. I have extensive experience teaching postgraduate level in the areas of HRM, and Organisational Behaviour. I am a Chartered Fellow CIPD. My role is to hold a strategic position and demonstrates the expertise to the key areas of HR to promote and achieve organisation success. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) and I completed PGCert from Falmouth University. I have completed the Cross-Cultural Management program, Tokyo,  JAPAN (Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship Alumni (AOTS). I was also selected to participate in the Master Class for Global Cross-Cultural Management (GCCM) in 2011 and 2016, provided by Prof. Hofstede and the team at Maastricht University. I am an accredited lecturer in Intercultural Management by Hofstede Insights and I am also a cross-cultural trainer.

My main research interests are related to Intercultural Management, such as International Business Negotiation, Communication Across Culture, Acculturation, Global teamwork, Cross-Cultural Communication, Global Leadership, Global team, Cultural Competencies. I am working on a research project, “Developing the cross-cultural skills of graduates in response to the needs of the European enterprise.” The project's outcome will be an open-source 'Cross-cultural Competencies and Skills Development Toolkit". There are five Higher Education Institutions have participated in this study: University of Worcester (Project lead- UK), London South Bank University (UK), UC Leuven-Limburg (Belgium), Halmstad University (Sweden), and Bursa Uludağ University (Turkey). I am also a Director of Research & Academic Relations, Society for intercultural educators, trainers, and researchers (SIETAR UK).
