Personal profile
Jennifer's teaching and research career within Higher Education spans more than 20 years. During this time she has taught across a range of courses and levels, enabling her to bring a wealth of experience to her current role. Since joining Southampton Solent University as an Associate Lecturer more than ten years ago she has taught at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including PhD supervision. Jennifer regularly leads modules and co-teaches alongside colleagues on the Music Business, Music Production and Music Performance undergraduate degree courses, specialising in popular music studies and research skills. Jennifer's published works have predominantly focussed on music journalism but she has also collaborated with colleagues on a funded project examining music copyright and she has curated a museum exhibition focussing on local music-making in a rural community.
