Teaching

I am a lecturer, module leader and course co-ordinator for the Art & Design Foundation Programme. I have also run, and taught modules on BA (Hons) Photography, BA (Hons) Prosthetics and Special Effects and BA (Hons) Interior Design Decoration. I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and have been employed at Solent University since 2016.

Research interests

After graduating from a BA (Hons) in Photography at The Arts University Bournemouth, I went on to study for an MA in Photographic Studies at Westminster University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Oxford Brookes University, and then an MA in Education at Oxford Brookes University. I am currently a part-time research student, embarking on a practice-based photography PhD at Solent University.

My photographic work encompasses themes of trauma, personal experiences, family history, and more recently, the visualisation of others' experiences. My photographic work has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally.
