Research interests
My research interests have historically centred on Political Communication and Chinese Studies, the fields around which my doctoral thesis revolved. I am interested in Comparative Media and its relationship to Political Philosophy. My recent research has applied a longstanding interest in Philosophy to an earlier academic interest, Film Studies, a subject which I teach. I am currently working on a monograph examining metaphysics in the films of David Lynch.
