Organisation profile
The Department of Science and Engineering encompasses architecture and the built environment, biomedical science, computing, and engineering. Our mission is to conduct innovative, interdisciplinary applied research. Key research areas include improving the efficiency and sustainability of the construction industry, developing applied AI solutions for complex problems in the maritime industry, healthcare, and other large data-driven challenges, as well as pioneering advancements in additive manufacturing and novel materials.
