I was invited to present the talk "The Woods Metaphor & Suppression of the Female Voice in the Digital World" as part of my ongoing practice-based research at the 4th International Creative Industries Festival, organized by the Creative Industries Research and Innovation Network at Oxford Brookes University. Sponsored by the Centre of Research in the Arts, my talk explored the symbolic role of the "woods" in fairy tales, where women often embark on perilous journeys that reflect societal pressures and reinforce traditional gender dynamics.
