This brand new series Bridge Resource Management (BRM) expands upon, updates and replaces our longstanding, globally respected Bridge Team Management publication (2003). Complementary to new IMO Model Course 1.22, the series takes a holistic view of BRM, exploring both human and technical resources on the modern-day bridge. Each volume explores what good BRM looks like – not simply to avoid accidents but to pursue operational excellence, and promotes a practice in which people operate with quiet efficiency, actively supported, fully informed and in control.
