Description
Working in the community can involve working with vulnerable people and leave you as an individual exposed to prolonged trauma and stress leading to compassion fatigue. Our understanding of compassion fatigue is limited but research has shown self-compassion can build resilience reducing the potential impact of additive trauma.In this experiential workshop we will take you through some positive psychology tools to help build resilience and compassion for yourself. You will also be invited to try a short mindfulness-based practice and self-hypnosis.
